The parcel is in diligence and site selection. SAREN does not own it, and no site control is claimed.

SAREN intends to form SAREN Cares as a separate nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, and mental health. Named for founder Sandy Lewars, MSc’s late mother, KMB, it will include the planned 24-unit KMB Residence and SarenMind mental-health pillar. The nonprofit is not yet formed. The residence is envisioned within the integrated campus planned for the target Panola Road parcel in Lithonia, DeKalb County — a site in diligence, not owned; the existing 8-unit layout is a repeatable design concept, not the full project size.

Under the MOA, SAREN is a DeKalb Public Health condom distribution site — free distribution only, never sold — and DeKalb Public Health supplies the product and provides a certified HIV Counselor Health Educator for HIV testing and education on request.
The Access Program
Free-condom distribution and education, built on the DeKalb Public Health MOA. Three stands carry it: the Venue Stand, inside SKND LOUNGE and Maison SAREN behind the controlled, ID-verified door; the Event Stand, a portable, staffed, education-forward pop-up; and Partner Stands at salons, clinics and businesses, coordinated through the MOA. Its Education Series brings education and referrals to schools, parks and libraries, co-delivered with the DCPH Health Educator — in youth settings the series is education only, with no distribution to minors, and district policy governs.

Founder Story — Why SAREN Exists
SAREN is a name built from two names — SA for Sandy Lewars, MSc, and REN drawn from her late mother’s name, carried on in her initials, KMB. Everything about this enterprise begins with her.
Her mother’s life and legacy are the root of Sandy Lewars, MSc’s road to medicine. Sandy Lewars, MSc’s specialty vision is trauma surgery, all the way to her own surgical suite, so that families facing their hardest moments find the care and support hers needed. She is building this to make her mama proud.
Sandy Lewars, MSc is building SAREN from the ground up — a journey from public assistance to enterprise. She is a SNAP recipient, a mother, and a woman who has navigated housing instability. She is 100% Guyanese, Guyanese to the bone, and that heritage pride runs through every division she is building. And she is designing every division from lived experience: the housing she needed, the wellness she could not access, the community infrastructure her neighborhood lacked. This is not an outside investment thesis. It is a from-the-ground-up build by someone who has lived the need.
Sandy Lewars, MSc is actively preparing for the MCAT as part of her path to medical school and trauma surgery. That preparation sits alongside building SAREN and homeschooling her son. Being a mom is her favorite version of herself. Her family comes first, always.
Her drive is relentless and deeply personal: “I’m doing a lot and I’m not sleeping. This must be fruitful.” For Sandy Lewars, MSc, the work is not motion for its own sake; every course, research step, revenue lane and institution-building decision must move her family and community toward a more secure future.
The mission has two pillars. The first is supportive housing for survivors, honored in the planned KMB Residence, named for her mother. The second is mental health, carried by the SarenMind pillar within the planned SAREN Cares structure. Both are built into the plan itself — a permanent commitment to the community SAREN serves.
Her dedications are locked: KMB, her son, her husband of sixteen years, and her aunt. This is a family-built enterprise with a community-scale ambition — and it will not forget the people it is for.
Founder
Sandy Lewars, MSc
Sandy Lewars, MSc is an aspiring physician and the founder of SAREN. Her M.D. Pre-Clinical Coursework at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine (2019–2021) built a foundation across Gross Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology and Behavioral Science. Her experience also spans patient intake, HIPAA-compliant documentation, healthcare support, scientific writing and quality assurance.
She is building SAREN at the intersection of personal wellness, operations, education and community impact. Her training includes Google Introduction to AI through Coursera, completed October 2026. Her public research record includes ORCID 0009-0009-9188-5003 and the live Open Science Framework project Standardizing Post-Operative Lymphatic Drainage Pathways Following Gluteal Fat Grafting (BBL): A Phased Research Program. Her mission is captured in a single line: ALLURING Care for EveryBODY — care that makes room for science, Guyanese heritage, dignity and the whole person.
